Is your name written in the Book of Life?

Will you spend eternity in Heaven or Hell?

How To Go To Heaven

1.  You must realize you need to be saved.

Think through a few of the 10 Commandments for a moment.  (Exodus 20)

Have you ever lied, even once?

Have you ever stole something, even something you thought was minor?

Have you ever spoken God’s name in a thoughtless manner?

If you are honest, you know you have, and these are just three of the ten.

So, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, blasphemer.

On Judgment Day you will stand guilty and condemned before a holy God.

This is why the Bible says

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23

“For the wages of sin is death…"  Romans 6:23

“But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Revelation 21:8

2.  You must accept that salvation cannot be earned, but only comes through the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”  John 3:16

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.”  John 14:6

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”  Romans 5:8

“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.”  Ephesians 2:8-9

3.  You must humble yourself, repent and ask Jesus to forgive you of your sin; stop living for yourself and start living for Him!

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.  For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.   Matthew 16:24-25

"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name"   John 1:12

“Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord"   Acts 3:19

for “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”   Romans 10:13

"and He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf."   2 Corinthians 5:15

If you do these things with a sincere heart, your sins will be washed away and your name will be written in the Book of Life. Heaven will be your home for eternity!
